WhatRingSize (“we”, “us”) operates whatringsize.com. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and how it is handled. We’ve tried to keep it plain.

The short version

We don’t ask you to create an account, and we don’t collect names, emails or payment details through the tool. The converter and sizer run entirely in your browser. The main privacy consideration is third-party advertising, covered below.

Information stored in your browser

When you calibrate the on-screen sizer, your screen’s scale is saved in your browser’s local storage on your device only. It is never transmitted to us and you can clear it any time by using “Recalibrate” or clearing your browser data.

Advertising

This site is supported by advertising. We may use third-party advertising companies, including Google, to serve ads. These companies may use cookies and similar technologies to measure performance and, where permitted, to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
